Model A Car Club visited the Railroad
On a chilly and rainy Saturday in April, we hosted Model A cars from local clubs including the Mid Peninsula Old Time Auto Club, the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club, and Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America. Bruce, Ken and Marty helped with the tours of the railroad. But the real hero was Steve Dunn. He hosted the event, including wrangling all of us for support and at the end of the day, he rescued the Blue engine, using his engine to tow the club engine back to the car barn after its battery died.
