October 24 & 25 Run Weekend
A beautiful fall weekend at the PV&A. Saturday’s run day shared the railroad with our first Operations Meet. Crews were switching freight cars alongside the usual laps and rides. In the Station House, a lineup of scale figures drew a crowd. The models were created by Robert from photos using AI and 3D printing. Dee’s daughter, Sierra, painted the figures with an artist’s eye.
Sunday was a family day. Young visitors rode behind the Santa Fe, took turns on the speeder and the velocipede, and learned to rerail an engine.
