Membership

Our club is actively seeking both those wishing to get started in the hobby as well as seasoned railroaders. The club seeks people who take an active interest in various aspects of the hobby including live steam and diesel/electric operations, track construction and maintenance, rolling stock and locomotive fabrication, scale structure fabrication and repair, and more. Our hobby utilizes and can teach a wide variety of skill sets to interested individuals.

The railroad holds regular Thursday work days. The weekend of the fourth Saturday of each month is a regular run weekend. In addition, several special events are held throughout the year.

Annual dues are $100 for adults and $50 for youths 12 - 18.   

If you are interested in joining the PV&A, please use the contact us form to communicate with us. Tell us your name and leave us your email address and a phone number so we can return your inquiry. Also include any specific interests you may have, as well as any train equipment in 7.5" gauge that you currently own, either complete or under construction. No equipment is required to join the club.

Membership applications are considered by the operations board, which meets on a monthly basis. There is a one time fee of $35 to become a member.
